| In Omnivore's Dilemma, Michael Pollan, the author, discusses the truths about food, including the origins, the process, and the distribution of our food. He asks the simple question of "What should we have for dinner?" He then expands that question and looks into three categories: Industrial (the revolutions of technolgy and corn), Pastoral (organic and sustainable farming), and Personal(hunting-gathering and our role as the human race). Pollan also discusses the unknown facts about what is happening on these farms that provide us omnivores with the "nutrition" we need. The Omnivore's Dilemma is a very counfounding book that helps you learn the true nature of food production and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves food.
