In the The Great Derangement by Matt Taibbi, the author Matt jumps right into the world of politicking
and grabs my attention immediately with his down to earth profanity,
cussing and straightforward remarks. He looks and analyzes the failures
of Bush's Administration and the whole fallout from the war in Iraq. He
takes a dive into the life of an average conservative Christian in
Texas, what he finds is shocking!
The book to me, wasn't amazingly difficult to read, I mean it had some words that I may had to
google, but besides that, it was written quite well for the average
minded person to understand. The way the novel was set up was that it
jumped from one portion of his life during this story to another, and it
wasn't set up in a chronological pattern (in order) and that was a bit
confusing, cause it left me with a lot of cliffhangers, and I don't
really like cliffhangers. One thing I enjoyed in it was that it wasn't
really biased leaning to the left or the right in political parties.
Overall, I would give this book 4 out of 5 stars. Sorry I'm pretty tough
on reading. The only book that I gave 5 out of 5 stars to was "Where's
Waldo".
