| This book is saturated with details, descriptions, fascinating facts, pictures, charts and examples. Diamond help explain and clarify why/how Europeans managed to conquer natives and indigenous people. It was not of superior genes but of the development of guns, germs, and steel. Diamond takes readers all over the world into different societies and explain the differences in culture, environment, agriculture, and technological advances. He covers on a variety of topics to show the growth of a society, compared to others.
I find it interesting and worth the time to read. It may be wordy sometimes (but with the excellent teaching of Mr. Lunow you will be fine). Among the top options so grasp your chance!
