This book sounds interesting. It's about a writer named Barbara Ehrenreich who decides to give up her life for about 3 months. She basically goes to 3 different cities and works off unskilled jobs and tries to see how people working minimum wage gets by. She lives in each place for a month getting a job and trying to find rent for as low as possible.

This book is pretty short compared to most of the other books, so if you want to read less, choose this book.

But be warned. I found this book extremely boring. She basically just talks on and on about her things she does everyday. Like basically she writes down all the details and it was really boring. I found no real purpose to the book except to reiterate the point that people have difficult times getting by in America on a minimum wage job.

I believe this book is rather insulting actually.

It is meant for someone who has lived their ENTIRE life in wealth and had it easy the majority of their life. It should be read by people who have never had to do physically stressing work and don't understand the life of someone who is poor.

And trust me, I ACTUALLY read the book. It was boring. I don't recommend it unless you want to read a shorter book or you just want to listen to someone's day.
