| I like this book. It has everything that i look for in a book. It's inspirational. It's easy to read. It has pictures, and a very interesting story. I find the main character/ Mortenson to be a today-kind-of-hero to be able to put himself through dangers in order to provide people education. There were many obstacles and problems that hinder Mortenson's plan of contructing schools through out rural Pakistan, but Mortenson did not give up but instead he tried to resolved those problems by sacrificing everything he could in order to accomplish his goal. Even when some Americans tend to have negative thoughts toward Muslims after 9/11, Mortenson was thought of as a traitor, he did not stop helping those in need of education. Mortenson was loved by many in Pakistan and later on led a change in American's thoughts toward Muslims.
It's very interesting and i recommend it
