And Still Peace Did Not Come by Agnes Fallah Kamara-Umunna and Emily Holland tells a story through the eyes of a girl named Agnes Fallah Kamara-Umunna who learns lessons and tragedies of the Liberian Civil Wars as she grows up. The war left 250,000 dead, and 2/3 of the women raped. As she grows up, Umunna tries to help out the civilians of Liberia. She soon gets a job hosting a radio program called Straight From the Heart. There she interviewed victims, which not only included regular people in the war, but also child soldiers. While hosting the radio program, she also created a center where child soldiers could rehabilitate. Through this book Umunna teaches us to forgive and to always help others out, even if they don't seem to deserve it.
Do not judge a man on his actions, but on his motives.

I really recommend this book to everyone. It is a really good reading not only for people in AP Human Geography, but people not taking it as well.
