And Peace Still Did Not Come is about the 14 year war in Liberia and how it affected the people who lived there. It tells Agnes's story about her fear and the hardships she went through during the war, but also what she wanted to accomplish after the war ended. She tried to help the country and its people make peace by starting a radio talk show that soon would tell the stories of not only victims but of the child soldiers. Agnes got mixed reviews but because of what she did she helped people move on and forgive which isn't an easy thing to do. Child Soldiers and people looked to her for guidance and helped them grow up like they never got to. she had her hardships with her family and perosnal life, but got through it and helped people to make up for that. Agnes came to America and helped Liberians here on our country move and its truly inspiring that she got past through everything and ya she judged but saw past what happened to make the country better. In my opinion this book is 5 STARS and is atrue inspiration to people on how helping move on can bring them together and get past the hardships. biggrin up
