| An economist tracks the journey a simple $5.99 t-shirt makes around the globe, starting with Texas cotton ending in Africa in The Travels of a T-Shirt in the Global Economy. Each stage in a t-shirt's life unfolds insight on different aspects of the world market. The book was interesting but a bit slow and very repetitive. It was a bit difficult to get through but I learned a lot of interesting things from it, and it was very unexpected to see how much of the world and economics a common t-shirt covers. I honestly wouldn't have understood much of this book at all if I didn't take Human Geography before reading it! -Hannah Caskey
