I would say Confessions of an Economic Hitman was very different form the other books. It's an autobiography about John Perkins's career working for a financial consulting firm, MAIN. Through the book he defines what an economic hit man is and his involvement and impact through his practice. The book is sectioned by years and he talks about three countries; Indonesia; Panama; and Saudi Arabia. He speaks about how he was involved in the countries and what he had accomplished for MAIN at the time.

I rated this book 3 1/2 stars because although it had its interesting moments, the book, for me, got a little slow at the end. It wasn't what I expected from reading reviews and what it was about. It's more about John Perkins's feeling and experience rather than just a book about facts. But, it you are one interested in Political Geography and Industrialization and Development, this book is for you.
