"Four vastly different yet equally driven auto industry visionaries rush to develop and market the first commercially successful electric car in this follow-up to the provocative documentary Who Killed the Electric Car?" - from Netflix

This is a thought provoking look at one of the biggest issues you guys will have to deal with in the future, energy. We are dependent on fossil fuels to power our way of life in the USA. We have constructed our economy and, entire society, upon the assumption that we will have unlimited amounts of cheap oil indefinitely. Well, as LDCs become MDCs (read China and India), the competition for a dwindling supply of oil will increase, and our very way of life will be threatened.

One possible scenario that will help us survive is the adoption of alternative energy sources. One such suggestion is the change from gasoline to electricity to power our automobiles. This insightful documentary investigates the efforts of four people (one a South African) to rekindle interest in the Electric Car.

Ethan Tran - Period 4

This movie is highly recommended for the future era and fellow ap hug students as the electric car will most definitely show up in the near future. The electric car is much more eco-friendly and will trend as big companies such as NISSAN, Tesla, and GM,General Motors creates this competitive atmosphere of "We need electric cars to compete with them." However, change is much more complex that the word itself. There are obstacles those companies have to overcome just like how GM how to declare bankruptcy to get government subsidies, TESLA releasing a cheaper electric car, and NISSAN with its innovative international car dealerships for their electric cars. Time will eventually catch up and replace those environmentally damaging gas cars with electric cars.

Therefore, I give this movie a 4.5/5 for changing my views on how the future is changing and adapting fast.

Revenge of the Electric Car is a documentary about the electric cars. Brands like Nissan, GM, and Tesla all make cars that run on electricity. This movie leaves you excited and hopeful and opens your eyes to several different approaches to the future of transportation. Due to Electric cars in the future we would be able to save the earth by not polluting the atmosphere with the carbon monoxide. For the normal person we would be able to save alot of money on gas. All we would have to do is recharge the car and we would be ready to drive again. You also get to see a visionary electric vehicle builder/fixer/converter extraordinaire in Reverand Gadget's Left Coast Electrics. He is very dedicated to the cause and hopefully to get on top.

I would give this movie a 9/10 because of the fact that it shows the future of transportation. It gives us a great idea how it will go down.

Revenge of the Electric Car is a documentary that describes the issues and promising advantages of electrical cars. The documentary mentions GMC, Telsa, and Nissan as companies trying to increase the usage of electrical vehicles. The movie mentions how the use of gas an fossil fuels is both unhealthy and problematic when dealing with other countries. They also discuss the need for more electrical vehicles to help the environment and to be prepared for when they run out of natural resources. The movie shows how each company takes a different approach to try and sell their cars. Nissan decides to mass produce cars without knowing if the market will allow for all the cars to be brought, Telsa offers a car that looks stylish and is electrical but the cost in not realistic for everyone, and GMC revives their plans for electrical vehicles through the Leaf.

I would rate the documentary a 4/5 because it was pretty interesting and addressed the issue of the effects of using gas.
