Freakonomics was hands down a good book. However, to be completely honest it started off slow and didn't quite pick up as fast as I thought it would. Each chapter had a topic it followed and each one entertained me in a different way. Although, some chapters were better than others I felt like I gained new piece of knowledge from each one. As you read you can tell that both authors, Stephen J. Dubner (Journalist) and Steven D. Levitt (Economist), had a crucial and large affect on the book. Ch. 6 was really fun to read and really had me laughing at the statistics.

Whether you're reading about drug dealers, the Ku Klux Klan, real estate agents, or the socioeconomic naming of children (which was my favorite) you can take something from the book. Sometimes I found myself yawning, but overall it was a good read. tongue
