| Overall, this was an average book. I wouldn't really recommend it and it was a challenging keeping up with allof the names thrown around. Since it was written in 2004 some of the parts about the Iraq war can feel a little dated. But the book does have some strengths, like the interviews with the warlords and oil barons can be pretty interesting. But when it whips back to the main part it can a little dull. The last thing about this book is that if you really want to read it you have to commit or it can get a little confusing. I agree wit the previous reviewer and give this book a 3 out of 5. It has both equal boring and interesting parts to it
