I found this book interesting because it gave a new view on America and the way we get our resources from other countries. I would read it because it's rather short, it's not really long and it's easy to read. It might be a little hard to understand if you haven't taken US History or World History because he discusses a lot about the history of certain countries. Otherwise, besides the history lessons, I was intrigued by Perkins' description of how Economic Hit Men manipulate countries out of billions of dollars. Even though it's about economies and stuff there isn't any math or anything! So don't be scared of the title! It's a fun story to read.
