| How The Other Half Live by Jacob A. Riis is a very good book explaining the living condition for the poor in New York in the early 1800. I really like chapter 1 and 2 because it explain the housing condtion. Quick passage from the book: 5 families can live in 1 room (12×12).Think about your room. Most chapter are very interesting, but chapter 20 The Working Girls of New York is the worst chapter I have ever read. Its so unfair that I just want to burn the book right after i finished chapter 20. But the rest was really good.
This book applied to many AP Human Geography theme: Urban Pattern,Ethnicity, Language, and Migration. But most will be on Urban Pattern and Migration. I recommend this book to all AP HUG student. I GIVE THIS BOOK 4 STAR
